Sunday School

At Prosper UMC, we are passionate about partnering with families to raise up a generation of children who seek to follow Christ. Our Sunday School classes are taught by a dynamic team of committed volunteers. Our leaders are equipped with training and curriculum that helps them build a faith foundation for the children of the church. Our rooms are lovingly prepared for your children, and kids can expect to find games, toys, friends, and fellowship every Sunday. Come be a part of our exciting and growing Children’s Ministry.

Upon arriving for Sunday School, please sign your child in and out of class. Parents or Guardians must remain on campus while their children are attending Sunday School. Please see the Adult Ministries page for information on classes where YOU can get plugged in!

Our nursery room is staffed with professionals who love kids! At Prosper UMC, we are passionate about partnering with families to reach even the youngest children in our church. When your child comes to the nursery they will be surrounded by music, engage in an age appropriate Bible lesson, and spend quality time playing with their friends. Our welcoming staff is looking forward to surrounding your children with love and acceptance as their eyes are opened to the love of Jesus Christ.

Children who are infants through age 3 are invited to join us from 8:30 am to noon in room E7.

All nursery staff and volunteers are trained and background checked. To apply for a nursery position or to volunteer, please contact Bree Bakke at children@prosperumc.org

This past summer, we took our kids on awesome adventures alongside some of their favorite Bible heroes and discovered the qualities that make us truly heroic in God's eyes. VBS Hero Central used epic music, spectacular science, crafty crafts, heroic recreation, and fantastic Bible stories to help kids (and leaders) discover their strength in God! Registration for next year will open in the spring of 2019.
