Ushers and Greeters are an essential component of the worship experience especially at Easter when those entering our doors may be experiencing our church for the first time.
Ushering is a major part of helping guests and members alike to experience worship in our traditional service. It’s an easy and fun way to serve and connect. There are times when we have lacked the people for that role on a Sunday, and it both distracted and took away from the experience of worship. That’s why we try hard to seek out a pool of folks who are willing to serve and sign up to take turns throughout the year. We know that new folks won’t immediately know what to do. So, we’ve set up an opportunity to be an Usher Trainee and shadow someone before taking on the role.
