Read: 2 Corinthains 5:17-21
Paul reminds us of the transformative power of Christ’s love and sacrifice. Through Christ, we become new creations, reconciled to God, and entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation. This is not just a personal transformation but also a call to action. We have been given the ministry of sharing the message of God’s love and forgiveness with others. We are called to extend grace just as we’ve received grace from a loving God.
If you’re still carrying the burden of past choices or mistakes, the good news is, with Christ, we are given a fresh start each day. We are no longer defined by our past, but through the redeeming work of Christ. Our old self is replaced with anew self, born of the Spirit.
Be Still: How can you reflect on the truth of being a new creation in Christ. I encourage you to embrace the freedom and forgiveness that is offered to boldly live out your calling sharing the love and grace of Jesus with those around you.
Prayer: Forgiving God, thank you for making me a new creation in Christ. Help me to fully embrace my identity in him to live out the ministry of reconciliation. Give me the courage and compassion to be an extension of your grace by sharing your love with others. Amen
