Welcome to PUMC Kids

Welcome to Prosper United Methodist! We are thrilled to share our passion for Christ with the children of the church. The Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers believe that young children are in such a sweet spot on their faith journey, and we are passionate about passing on the story of our faith from one generation to the next. Our ministry team is committed to partnering with families to meet the spiritual needs of all children so they will come to LOVE God, SERVE others, and GROW in their faith.

Sunday School

In-person at 9:45am & 11am.

We are passionate about partnering with families to raise up a generation of children who seek to follow Christ. Our Sunday School classes are taught by a dynamic team of committed volunteers. Our leaders are equipped with training and curriculum that helps them build a faith foundation for the children of the church.

Common Ground, a tween ministry for 4th and 5th graders.
Meets Sundays, 4-5:30pm

Bible Basics

Bible Basics is a small group for kids in grades 3 and 4. Students play games and learn important tips for navigating the Bible.

Nursery

We’re staffed with professionals who love kids! And we are passionate about partnering with families to reach even the youngest children in our church. When your child comes to the nursery they will be surrounded by music, engage in an age appropriate Bible lesson, and spend quality time playing with their friends. Our welcoming staff is looking forward to surrounding your children with love and acceptance as their eyes are opened to the love of Jesus Christ.

All nursery staff and volunteers are trained and background checked.

Joyful Noise

The Children’s Choir meets Sunday mornings at 9:45am during the school year. Open to children grades Kindergarten-5th.

Joyful Noise strives to help each child find and develop their singing voice while learning the songs and hymns of faith. Joyful Noise sings in worship several times a year.

All God’s children have a place in the choir!
