Seed Stomp!

November 17 12:00 pm

**Please note date change** Due to weather, the Seed Stomp has been rescheduled for Sunday, November 17th

Come be a part of the new wildflower pocket prairie at PUMC! We will scatter and stomp wildflower seeds to create a wildflower pocket prairie. Many years ago, when the prairies covered Texas, buffalo stomped the seed. We need lots of feet next Sunday!

Texas was once covered by an endless sea of grass and wildflowers, the only area in the world with a Blackland prairie. We have lost 99% of it. The PUMC pocket prairie will be an island of native habitat, giving us a peaceful place to walk, pray, and experience and learn about the plants, birds, and pollinators that we host.

The entire family is welcome to help us spread and stomp down seeds in the area near the prayer garden. You will see your hard work in the beautiful flowers that will pop up next spring!
