Christmas Missions

In coordination with Cornerstone, we are collecting hoodie sweatshirts for families in need. We have a collection box at the Sanctuary entrance to drop off new hoodies. Sizes from 5T – adult 3XL (both male and female) are needed.

This year’s Alternative Giving Tree will be helping World Vision. World Vision partners with children and families all over the world to help lift them out of poverty.

With a donation of $25 or more, your gift will provide chickens, ducks, goats, clean water, wells and care kits to help people in the US and all over the world.

The ornaments adorning the tree have been purchased from Fair and Square, a fair trade store located in downtown McKinney. This keepsake, received with your donation, can serve as a unique gift to a family or friend in lieu of a traditional Christmas gift.

What is a Chrismon?

You may have noticed the beautifully beaded ornaments on the biggest tree in the Sanctuary. These ornaments are called Chrismons and each one has a special meaning.
