Kellie Sanford
Pastor Kellie has 15+ years of ministry experience prior to joining our staff in May 2022. Before coming to PUMC, she served a 5-year appointment as a chaplain and pastor for C.C. Young. In addition, she has had various roles as director of children and family ministries and discipleship development for young and senior adults, Pastor Kellie brings experience and passion. She is a graduate of Southwestern College with a degree in Pastoral Studies and SMU Perkins School of Theology with a Master of Divinity. Pastor Kellie has led staff and volunteers, implemented new discipleship pathways, Bible studies and Sunday school classes and has creatively led worship opportunities.
Pastor Kellie resides in Flower Mound, Texas with her husband of 34 years. They have three beautiful, adult children and became grandparents for the first time in December 2020. Her hobbies outside of ministry include spending time with her family (whom she loves and adores with every ounce of her being), running, walking by the lake, painting and reading. She says that all these activities are a reminder for her of the importance of self-care.
