Jason McConnell
Pastor Jason is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and has served Prosper UMC since 2013. His experience in ministry includes leading both large and small churches, as well as starting up new church communities and fostering their developments. Prior to ministry, Pastor Jason had a career in business consulting but finally answered the call on his life to full-time ministry and stepped away in 2004. He became a pastor in 2006.
A native of Richardson, Pastor Jason now resides in Prosper with his wife, JeanAnn, and their three children. He attended Texas Tech University where he earned a BA in High-Performance Management and an MBA in Business Administration. Most recently he graduated Magnum Cum Laude from SMU Perkins School of Theology with a Master of Divinity.
Pastor Jason has a love for music, movies, running, camping, and the outdoors. His passions include relational evangelism, redefining church in relevant and meaningful ways, and transforming lives through Scripture and small groups.
