Jennifer Steckel
Jennifer Steckel joined the staff of Prosper UMC in December 2022. She has been married to her husband, Lance, for 19 years and has two sons, Graham and Carson.
Jennifer is a graduate of the University of North Texas, with a BS degree in Accounting. Her corporate accounting career began by working for a sporting goods distributor, followed by a construction company, and finally at a telecommunications company. She took a brief 2-year break after the birth of her second son and returned to the work force as a bookkeeper. She has done bookkeeping for the past 8 years, and a couple of years ago started her own bookkeeping business. She enjoys working with and helping small business owners maintain financial accuracy with their businesses.
Jennifer also serves on the PTA board, the Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) board, and a couple of women’s ministries within her church parish of St. Francis in Frisco.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family. On the basketball court watching both of her boys play is where you can find her several days of the week.
