Mia Gutierrez-Woods became the director of Prosper United Methodist Preschool (PUMP) in July of 2012. She manages the daily operations of the preschool and is committed to seeing PUMP grow with Prosper UMC.
She has experience working as a director for a private Montessori school and as a preschool teacher. Mia is a Prosper High School graduate and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University in Education, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science degree in Family Studies from TWU and her PhD in Family studies.
Mia resides in McKinney with her husband, James. They are members of First United Methodist Church of McKinney.
