Blessing of the Animals

A Blessing of Animals witnesses to God’s and the Church’s love, care, and concern for creation. As we recognize our mutual interdependence with God’s creatures, the Church’s witness of stewardship of creation is strengthened.

Bring your pets for a service and a blessing. Any pet may be blessed, but please bring them on a leash or in a carrier for their protection. We will gather in the east garden for this event. Invite your friends and their pets, too, for this fun event.

We will also be collecting items for the Collin County Animal Shelter. Most needed items are: dry cat & dog food, blankets/towels, and training pads.
